Open Safari or Chrome
Open Safari (recommended) or Chrome on your iPhone. Both browsers support WebRTC camera access on iOS 14+.
Go to webcamtoy.online
Type webcamtoy.online in the address bar. The mobile-optimized page loads with the large Start button ready.
Tap Start Webcam Toy
Tap the pink Start button. iOS will ask "webcamtoy.online Would Like to Access the Camera" — tap Allow.
Take Photos with Effects
Swipe through effects horizontally in the panel below the camera. Tap the shutter button to capture. Tap ⬇️ Save to add to your Camera Roll.
How to Use Webcam Toy on Android
- Open Chrome or Firefox on your Android phone
- Go to webcamtoy.online
- Tap "Start Webcam Toy"
- Tap Allow on the camera permission prompt
- Browse effects horizontally in the panel and tap to apply
- Tap the shutter button, then ⬇️ Save to download
Switching Between Front and Rear Camera
By default, Webcam Toy uses your front-facing (selfie) camera. On most mobile browsers, you can switch to the rear camera by long-pressing the camera permission icon or checking your browser settings. The site automatically requests the front camera for the best selfie experience.
Mobile Webcam Toy Tips
- Better lighting: Face a window or light source for the best selfie quality
- Horizontal effects panel: On mobile, scroll the effects panel left/right to see all filters
- Save to Camera Roll (iPhone): After downloading, check your Files app or Camera Roll for the JPG

Mobile Webcam Toy Not Working?
If the camera doesn't start on mobile, check these settings:
- iPhone Safari: Settings → Safari → Camera → Allow
- iPhone Chrome: Settings → Chrome → Camera → Allow
- Android Chrome: Tap the lock icon in address bar → Permissions → Camera → Allow
- Close other apps using the camera (FaceTime, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.)
